How to download and open the books
- Find your class in the tables above, then your term or subject.
- Pick the column for the medium you study — Tamil Medium or English Medium.
- Tap PDF to read or download. EPUB is the same book in e-reader format, with reflowing text you can resize.
- The file opens in a new tab in Google Drive. Use the download button there to save it, or read it straight from the browser.
The files are PDFs, so they open on any phone, tablet or computer without special software. If a link has stopped working, it almost always means the file has been moved or its sharing permission changed at the source — the books themselves are published free by the Department of School Education, so a replacement is easy to find. The step-by-step version, with screenshots of what to tap, is in How to download Tamil Nadu school textbooks PDF.
